An organized, certified and documented physical network

Pathways, copper and fiber optics for the data center and the building, with every link certified.

We design and install copper and fiber optic structured cabling for data centers and buildings: pathways, cabling, termination and certification of every link, with complete documentation of the installation. We work with CommScope Systimax solutions, including ImVision intelligent physical-layer monitoring.

The physical layer supports everything else

Messy or uncertified cabling causes intermittent faults that are hard to diagnose, complicates every change and blocks airflow in racks. Well-designed, documented cabling reduces intervention time and human error.

What is included

  • Pathways and trays for the data center and the building network.
  • Copper and fiber optics according to required bandwidth and distances.
  • Certification of every link with test equipment and delivered results.
  • Installation documentation: labeling, drawings and records to operate and grow.
  • Intelligent physical-layer monitoring with CommScope ImVision, when the project requires it.

Field experience

At the banking data center we implemented the Systimax solution and CommScope’s ImVision intelligent monitoring system. CommScope is one of PowerPlus’ technology partners.

Frequently asked questions

Structured cabling: frequently asked questions

Can’t find your question?

Why certify every link?

Because certification verifies with test equipment that the link meets its category parameters. Without it, an installation fault may only show up once the network is in production.

Copper or fiber?

It depends on bandwidth, distance and environment. Fiber is generally used for backbones and long links, and copper for connecting equipment over short distances.

Do you work on existing cabling?

Yes. We survey, organize, certify and document existing installations, and plan improvements in stages.
