Critical infrastructure · Precision cooling
Precision cooling sized to your room’s real density: from perimeter and InRow to liquid technologies for AI racks.
Precision cooling keeps temperature and humidity within the range IT equipment needs, continuously and under control. We design and install direct expansion and chilled water solutions, InRow and perimeter units, aisle containment and, for high-density artificial intelligence racks, immersion or direct-to-chip cooling.
An IT room dissipates heat continuously, all year round, concentrated in the racks. Comfort units are not designed to run 24/7 or to control humidity precisely. The result is hot spots, hardware failures and higher energy consumption than necessary.
AI workloads push density per rack far beyond a traditional room. Before installing this equipment it is worth assessing the available thermal and electrical capacity, per-rack distribution and the feasibility of adding liquid cooling.
In the renewal of Stellantis’ data centers we implemented Uniflair perimeter units and InRow cooling to keep temperature and humidity stable in every room.
Scope
Heat load, redundancy and airflow calculations per room and per rack.
Separating cold and hot air to improve efficiency and stability.
Assessment and implementation of liquid cooling when air is not enough.
Per-rack temperature and humidity integrated into DCIM.
Preventive and corrective plan to sustain performance and availability.
Lower energy use with containment, precise control and efficient equipment.

Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your question?
It depends on density per rack, room geometry and expected growth. Perimeter is common at low and medium densities; InRow captures heat close to the source and performs better as density rises.
When density per rack exceeds what air can efficiently remove, as happens with AI racks. We assess it case by case with a thermal and electrical survey.
In many cases, yes: aisle containment, load relocation and adding InRow units can be done in stages, planned so operations are not affected.
