# Certified power distribution, from main switchboard to rack

Type-tested switchboards, intelligent PDUs and labeled circuits so every critical load has a clear, protected power path.

We design and build the power distribution of critical rooms: Schneider Electric PrismaSeT power switchboards type-tested to IEC 61439, automatic transfer, surge protection, active harmonic filters and per-rack intelligent PDUs, with labeled and documented circuits so the room can be operated and maintained without errors.

## Distribution also defines availability

Redundant UPS units are not enough if distribution relies on a single switchboard or unlabeled circuits. A switching error or poorly coordinated protection can take down an entire row of racks. Distribution is designed with the same redundancy logic as the rest of the room.

- **Automatic transfer switchboards** with controllers to switch to generation during grid outages.
- **Electrical protection**: surge protective devices and active line filters for critical equipment.

  What does it mean for a switchboard to be type-tested to IEC 61439?That the assembly was designed and verified according to IEC 61439 for low-voltage switchgear, with documented checks of its performance. It is a guarantee of safety and of behavior under fault conditions.

   What is an intelligent PDU for?Besides distributing power within the rack, it measures consumption and can alarm on overloads. That data feeds capacity planning and room monitoring.

   What is A/B power?Feeding each device from two independent sources. To be truly redundant, both branches must have separate power paths from the source—not just two cables.
