DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) monitoring brings together on one platform the status of UPS, switchboards, cooling, environmental sensors and alarms in a critical room. We implement 24/7 remote supervision with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure platforms, an on-call phone line and availability reports, to detect and resolve events before they become outages.

## What isn’t measured can’t be anticipated

Many failures in critical rooms give signals before they happen: a battery losing capacity, a slowly rising temperature, a load approaching its limit. Without monitoring, those signals go unnoticed until the problem has already hit operations.

## What is included

- **Device integration** for power, climate and security (UPS, PDUs, cooling, sensors) over the protocols each device supports.
- **Alarms and notifications** configured by criticality, with defined escalation.
- **On-call phone line** and event response.
- **Trends and reports** on availability, load and environmental conditions.

## Field experience

At the banking data center we operate 24/7 monitoring with EcoStruxure Data Center Expert (DCE): remote supervision of power, environment and alarms with an on-call phone line. At Stellantis, monitoring runs on EcoStruxure Asset Advisor as part of the Advantage Service Plan.

   Can you monitor non-Schneider equipment?Generally yes, as long as the device exposes its data over a standard protocol. We validate each device before committing to the integration.
